Commerce ticketing Pro

Owl Pro adds first-class ticketing built natively on Craft Commerce. Because occurrences are real database rows, each one can carry its own tickets, capacity and inventory — no bolt-on workarounds.

Requirements

Ticketing requires Craft Commerce 5.0+ and the Owl Pro edition. Commerce is a soft, runtime-detected dependency — if it isn’t installed, Owl runs as a full calendar and hides ticketing. See pricing.

How it works

  • Tickets are purchasables. Each ticket is a Craft Commerce purchasable element, so it works with carts, checkout, taxes, discounts and the orders you already use.
  • Ticket types. Define types per occurrence — General, VIP, Early Bird — each with its own price and capacity.
  • Per-occurrence capacity. Inventory is tracked against the specific occurrence, so the Friday show and the Saturday show sell independently.
  • Oversell guards. Concurrency-safe checks prevent two simultaneous checkouts from overselling the last seat.
  • Order snapshots. The event title, date and ticket type are frozen onto the order, so completed orders stay correct even if the event is later edited or deleted.

Selling a ticket in Twig

Add a ticket to the cart with a standard Commerce add-to-cart form, using the ticket’s purchasable ID:

{{ csrfInput() }} {{ actionInput('commerce/cart/update-cart') }} {{ hiddenInput('purchasableId', ticket.id) }}

Beyond tickets

Pro also includes non-Commerce registration / RSVP capture, dashboard widgets and CSV/ICS import, for events that need attendee lists without a full checkout.
